Who is André Miranda?
André Alexandre Mendes Miranda (born 25 September 2007 in Setúbal, Portugal) is a left-footed right winger who can also play on the left flank. Standing at around 1.74–1.80m, the young Dragon has impressed with his pace, technical ability, and performances for FC Porto B and the youth setup.
He signed his first professional contract with Porto on 26 November 2024. Because he was still 17 at the time, Portuguese regulations limited it to three years (until June 2027). Now turning 19 later this year, Miranda is ready for a much longer commitment that reflects his rapid rise through the academy.
Miranda has already earned minutes with the first team, including a brief appearance in a Primeira Liga match against Arouca, though he has dealt with a subsequent injury. He has primarily shone for the B team in Liga Portugal 2, where scouts and fans have taken notice of his potential as a future star winger
