Henrikh Mkhitaryan is set to continue his journey with Inter Milan after agreeing a new contract that will keep him at the club until June 2027.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the agreement with his trademark “Here We Go” update on social media. The experienced midfielder had reportedly considered retirement earlier this year, but has now decided to continue playing after discussions with Inter manager Cristian Chivu.
Mkhitaryan remains one of the most reliable senior figures in the Inter squad despite turning 37. The Armenian international played an important role for the Nerazzurri during the 2024/25 season and helped the club compete strongly in domestic competitions.
The midfielder’s experience, tactical understanding and composure on the ball continue to make him a valuable player inside the dressing room. Inter’s management reportedly sees him as an important part of the squad for the next two seasons, especially with several young players developing around the team.
Since joining Inter in 2022, Mkhitaryan has won major trophies and established himself as a consistent performer in midfield. His leadership qualities and work ethic have also earned praise from coaches and teammates.
