Chelsea’s co-owner Behdad Eghbali has publicly backed manager Liam Rosenior despite the club’s recent poor run of results. The statement comes at a time when Chelsea FC are struggling for consistency and facing growing scrutiny.

Rosenior made a positive start after taking charge, raising expectations among fans and within the club. However, the momentum has faded in recent weeks. Chelsea have now gone several matches without a win across competitions. This dip in form has led to questions about the team’s structure, tactical clarity, and overall direction under the new manager.

Eghbali addressed the situation and made it clear that the ownership group remains confident in Rosenior’s long-term vision. He acknowledged the recent struggles but pointed to the manager’s early impact as a sign of his potential.

“We think he has every attribute to be successful here,” Eghbali said. “He got off to a great start. We’ve had a tough past five or six matches, but we are behind Liam.”

The Chelsea co-owner also stressed the importance of results in modern football but maintained that the club is willing to show patience. “Of course, it’s a results business, but we think he can be successful long term,” he added.
