Robert Lewandowski has shared an honest reaction to the incredible scoring form of Harry Kane, admitting that the English striker’s goal tally has made him reflect proudly on one of the most remarkable records in football history.

Kane has been in sensational form in recent seasons, consistently finding the back of the net and establishing himself as one of the most lethal forwards in Europe. His ability to score regularly has drawn comparisons with Lewandowski, who has set several scoring records during his illustrious career.

Speaking about Kane’s impressive run, Lewandowski acknowledged the Englishman’s consistency and quality in front of goal. “Harry Kane is always scoring so many goals and he’s playing really good and he’s doing a great job,” the Polish striker said while discussing the comparisons between the two forwards.

Lewandowski then reflected on his own historic achievement during the 2020–21 season when he broke a long-standing record for most goals in a single campaign in the Bundesliga. The striker famously scored 41 goals in just 29 matches for FC Bayern Munich, surpassing the legendary record set by Gerd Müller.
