Vinicius Junior has revealed that he played an active role behind the scenes in encouraging some of football’s biggest stars to join Real Madrid, including Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham.
Speaking in a recent interview, Vinicius admitted that he frequently contacted Mbappe over the years, urging the French superstar to make the move to the Santiago Bernabéu. “Every summer, I wrote to Mbappe asking, ‘When are you coming?’” Vinicius said. “I was pretty much his agent.”
The Brazilian winger also revealed that he used the same approach with Bellingham before the English midfielder completed his high-profile transfer to Madrid. According to Vinicius, his motivation was simple: he wanted to play alongside the very best players in the world in order to improve his own chances of winning major trophies.
“I did the same with Bellingham. I want to play with the best to have a better chance of winning,” he added. Mbappe’s long-awaited arrival at Real Madrid marked the end of one of football’s most dramatic transfer sagas, while Bellingham has already established himself as a key figure at the club with his outstanding performances since joining.
