Former Real Madrid youth product Alex Jimenez has opened the door to a potential return to the Santiago Bernabéu in the future, admitting that the Spanish giants still feel like “home” to him despite being fully focused on his current journey with Bournemouth.
Speaking in a recent interview, the 20-year-old left-back reflected emotionally on his time at Real Madrid Castilla, where he developed as a footballer before leaving the club in 2023. Jimenez stressed that while his immediate priority is to perform well for Bournemouth, his long-term ambition includes wearing the famous white shirt once again.
“I’m fully focused on Bournemouth now, but of course I’d love a return to Real Madrid in the future,” Jimenez said. “It’s my home. I learned everything there and it would be a dream to return one day.”
Jimenez joined AC Milan after leaving Real Madrid and impressed with his energy, defensive discipline, and attacking contributions from the left flank. His performances have attracted growing attention across Europe, and his recent move to Bournemouth represents another step forward in his career as he looks to establish himself in top-flight football.
