Real Madrid have suffered a major blow with Jude Bellingham ruled out for around a month due to a muscle injury, and the midfielder is now set to miss several crucial fixtures across La Liga and the UEFA Champions League.

The club confirmed that Bellingham has been diagnosed with an injury to the semitendinosus muscle in his left leg, forcing him onto the sidelines during a decisive phase of the season. While his recovery will be monitored closely, early projections suggest he could return for the away league match against Celta Vigo on March 8, although that date remains flexible depending on how quickly he responds to treatment.

In total, Bellingham is expected to miss at least four La Liga matches. He will definitely be unavailable for league clashes against Valencia, Real Sociedad and Osasuna. His participation in the game against Getafe remains uncertain and is considered “touch and go” as the medical staff assess his progress.

More concerning for Alvaro Arbeloa’s side is his likely absence from two of the biggest fixtures of the month, both legs of the Champions League playoff tie against Benfica.
