Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique has boldly claimed his team stands above all others as they prepare to face Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League 2025/26 semi-finals.

“There is no team that is better than us. I already said this after losing the top 8,” Enrique declared. He added: “These are the two best teams in Europe even if Arsenal also had a great season. In terms of consistency, Bayern is a bit ahead of us because they only lost two matches.”

The comments highlight the intense showdown between the defending champions PSG and a near-flawless Bayern side. Enrique acknowledged the high level of both clubs while stressing that on-pitch performance, not pre-match labels, will decide the outcome.

PSG have evolved into a balanced, tactically sharp unit under Enrique, peaking at the right time after a challenging Champions League schedule. Bayern, meanwhile, have displayed exceptional consistency with minimal defeats, making this an early final between Europe’s finest.

Enrique downplayed favourite status: “It doesn’t matter who the favourite is. What matters is what we show on the pitch.” The two-legged tie promises high-level, open football with only one side advancing to the final.
