Sun star Devin Booker rushed to the locker room after bloody Patrick Beverley headbutt. It was a bit frightening moment for the Phoenix Suns when superstar Devin Booker fell to the floor after an incident with Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals on Tuesday night. After the crash, Devin Booker was forced to head to the locker room with blood flowing from his face due to a Beverley headbutt.
It was looking like Beverley inadvertently poked Booker in the eye. After multiple replays, we saw that it was far worse. Beverley was also bloodied up from the incident and the Clippers’ veteran also had to head back to the locker room. The blood flowing injury looked bad, but it seemed like nothing more than a minor knock. Booker received several stitches in the locker room but came back to the bench to open the fourth and final quarter.
Booker, in the final minutes of the third quarter, had the ball on the wing and went to make a move to get past Beverley and into the lane. He dribbled the ball behind his back to cut to the right, however, Beverley reached in – which sent their two heads straight into each other. Booker told reporters that he feels better and may need to wear a mask in future games.
