Detroit Lions reveal 2024 training camp practices open to fans

The Detroit Lions are gearing up for training camp next month, with rookies slated to kick things off on Saturday, July 20, followed by veterans joining in on Tuesday, July 23. Exciting news for fans came on Tuesday morning when the Lions unveiled the schedule for open practices during camp.

According to the team’s official announcement, Lions enthusiasts will have the chance to attend a total of nine practices this summer, with the first opportunity kicking off on Saturday, July 27. It’s worth noting that this particular date will be exclusively reserved for Lions Loyal Members (season-ticket holders), as will two additional dates.

 

Here’s the comprehensive breakdown of Detroit’s open practice schedule, all times listed in Eastern Time (ET):

  • July 27 (8:30 a.m.): Lions Loyal Members only
  • July 29-31 (8:30 a.m.): Open to all fans
  • Aug. 1 (8:30 a.m.): Open to all fans
  • Aug. 2 (8:30 a.m.): Lions Loyal Members only
  • Aug. 11 (1:15 p.m.): Open to all fans
  • Aug. 12 (6:00 p.m.): Lions Loyal Members only
  • Aug. 14 (8:30 a.m.): Open to all fans

It’s important for all fans aged two and older to secure tickets, which are free of charge but required for entry.
