Rishabh Pant will likely miss a significant amount of time due to his injuries sustained in a serious car accident on Friday morning (December 30) near Roorkee. The 25-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman collided with a divider in his car on Friday morning close to Roorkee after making his last match appearance for India against Bangladesh in the second Test of a two-match series last week in Dhaka.
The cricketer suffered several injuries as a result of the tragic accident, but he is currently receiving treatment at Dehradun’s Max Hospital and is not in danger. According to reports, Pant has two wounds on his forehead, a torn ligament in his right knee, and wounds on his right wrist, ankle, and toe. He reportedly also suffered abrasion wounds to his back, right wrist, and right ankle.
In response to Pant’s accident, legendary Indian all-rounder and former captain Kapil Dev gave him some advice.
