Indian cricket team pacer Shardul Thakur has been departed after scoring a scintillating half century in the first innings for India. Indian team is surely behind in this WTC final against Australia but a 100+ run partnership between Ajinkya Rahane and Shardul Thakur could hurt Australia.
On day 3, Ajinkya and Shardul played massive innings in the first session. India won that innings as runs were scored and they only lost a single wicket in it. Despite that, India still trail by 150+ run which is an advantage to Australia in this final. Shardul’s wicket was the one when the fans and team got saddened again. Shardul however built a great partnership with Ajinkya Rahane. Shardul Thakur scored 51 runs from 109 balls and this runs from him could prove crucial for India in this game.
