In the ongoing game against Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians, team MI was seen in disagreement by third umpire’s review analysis.
When Nat bowled to Richa Ghosh, the ball was carried to keeper’s gloves which in return was shouted for an appeal. As soon as the umpires signalled “not out”, MI skipper Harmanpreet Kaur had no hesitation in taking the DRS since she was fielding close to the pitch.
Knowing that it was out, MI were satisfied by taking the DRS but unfortunately the DRS did not show any sound. This wonderful technology of DRS can do wonders but at the same time ought to some serious mistakes as the ball was clearly seen deflecting.
Mumbai Indians captain was in complete disbelief but the team did not lose hope, knowing that RCB is under pressure with quick fall of wickets.
