WPL: Mumbai Indians assemble for their first practice session; Harmanpreet Kaur to join team soon

The Mumbai Indians squad came together for their first-ever practise on Saturday, February 25, in preparation for the debut of the Women’s Premier League. Harmanpreet Kaur, the captain of India and the Mumbai Indians, will join the group following the team’s elimination from the T20 World Cup.

Coach Charlotte Edwards was jovial as she spoke to the players. The WPL season will begin on March 4 with Mumbai Indians taking on Gujarat Giants.

Coach Edwards from MI spoke to the girls and engaged them in a fun interactive activity. The former England player met Indian players from the area. In addition to Edwards, Devika Palshikar, the batting coach, was seen interacting with the players.
