Gujarat Titans have made a perfect choice in buying Australian cricketer Ashleigh Gardner for the inaugural season of Women’s Premier League.

Australian cricketer Ashleigh Katherine Gardner is an all-rounder who currently competes for the women’s national team. Gardner, a right-handed batter and right-arm off spinner, also competes for New South Wales and the Sydney Sixers in the Women’s Big Bash League and Women’s National Cricket League, respectively.
The BCCI previously disclosed that it had received 1525 registrations, of which 246 Indians and 163 foreign players had been selected. There are 24 players with the highest base price of 50 lakh, including 10 Indian and 14 international cricketers.
Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, Deepti Sharma, Shafali Verma, Alyssa Healy, Ellyse Perry, Sophie Devine, Sophie Ecclestone, and Deandra Dottin are on the list of people with the highest base prices. The winning Indian U-19 T20 World Cup team members have also registered for the auction. A total of 12 crore will be allocated to the five franchises.
