Australian batting sensation Phoebe Litchfield has been snapped up by UP Warriorz for Rs 1.20 crore in the WPL 2026 auction. The young left-hander entered the auction after two successful seasons with Gujarat Giants, where she was retained for Rs 1 crore in both 2024 and 2025.
Litchfield, one of the most exciting emerging batters in world cricket, had originally been bought for Rs 1 crore in the WPL 2024 auction and quickly showcased her promise with fluent stroke-play and consistent contributions.
UP Warriorz, who are rebuilding heavily this season, have now secured a high-quality top-order batter as part of their new core.
