Talking about the game, Australian Women scored 156 runs in the first innings, thanks to Beth Mooney’s 74* off 53 who once again starred in the Final game of tournament.

The South African initiated a slow start and were quickly dominated by Australian Women who grabbed three quick wickets, one of which being SA skipper’s panic runout.

Laura Wolvaardt seemed to be the only hope for South Africa but pacer Schutt restricted the Proteas opener at 61 runs as she was departed, giving the Aussies a positive comeback.

The concluding responsibilities were done and dusted by the bowling unit as Australia grabbed the World Cup Win by 19 runs.
