West Indies ended up with a fantastic score of 164 runs at the end of 20 overs, which looked tough as they scored only 65 runs in the initial 10 overs.

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma was once again partnering with Suryakumar Yadav for a great start to the blues in the second innings but tables turned when Rohit decided to leave the field.

Rohit Sharma halted the game in between the 2nd over and called up the physiotherapists of team India. After having a long chat with coach and the management, the Indian captain decided to walk back to the pavilion, resulting in “Retired Hurt”.

The reason is yet to be known but the viewers believe that dehydration was the cause of Indian captain’s sudden exit from the field. It is possible that Rohit experienced a heatstroke.

“Oh what’s happening to Rohit? Physio runs out and has a chat with him. Long discussion. Is it dehydration or something else? Oh he is walking off! Looks like that hack across the line (ball 1.3) where he got four off an under edge has done something to him. Yeah, he’s holding the back as he walks past the boundary. Shreyas Iyer walks in!” – Cricbuzz commented.
