West Indies bolsters T20I Squad with Shai Hope and Oshane Thomas for India series

The West Indies cricket team has announced its T20 International (T20I) squad for the upcoming five-match series against India, including the return of ODI skipper Shai Hope to the T20I setup.

Hope, who has shown significant improvement in white-ball formats, comes back after a year, boasting an impressive strike rate of 96.75 in ODIs this year.


Fast bowler Oshane Thomas has also been recalled to the T20I squad, having recently returned to the ODI setup for the India series.

Additionally, Shimron Hetmyer, who missed the T20 World Cup last year, will be part of the squad alongside Nicholas Pooran, who delivered a stunning century in the inaugural MLC final.
