Lucknow Super Giants’ star batter Nicholas Pooran was visibly enraged in the dressing room during the final over against Sunrisers Hyderabad after a series of chaotic dismissals — all triggered after he was run out due to Abdul Samad’s failure to rotate strike.

Pooran, who was looking dangerous with 45 off just 26 balls, was left stranded and eventually run out in the 19th over while Samad remained on strike. In the very next over, frustration peaked when Samad was dismissed on the 5th ball (19.5) — bowled by Nitish Reddy. Pooran, watching from the dugout, was seen slamming his pads against the glass wall, clearly upset over how the final overs unfolded.

Video show Pooran’s outburst just moments after Samad’s wicket. His anger stemmed from the fact that he not only got run out without facing more balls but also had to watch Shardul Thakur get run out and then Samad bowled — all within the space of 4 balls — completely derailing LSG’s momentum.

LSG, who were cruising past 190 with firepower left, could only reach 205/7 after a promising start. Pooran’s frustration captured the mood in the LSG camp as what could have been a massive finish ended with three wickets tumbling and no real contribution from the lower order.
