Wasim Jaffer praises Shubman Gill as he scores an impressive 65 against Australia A

Former Indian batsman Wasim Jaffer had words of encouragement for 21 year Shubman Gill as the right handed batsman scored an impressive 65 off 78 balls against Australia A in the second innings of the Australia A vs India practice match. Gill’s 65 also included 10 fours.

Both Rishabh Pant and Hanuma Vihari scored centuries in the second innings as well, building a 5th wicket partnership of 147 runs. As Day 2 comes to an end, India are currently 386/4 with both Pant and Vihari batting on 103* and 104* respectively.
