The great Sachin Tendulkar is set to be part of another first in Indian cricket history, as the legendary cricketer has been chosen to be honoured with a special memento. On Tendulkar’s 50th birthday, April 24, 2023, the Master Blaster will be honoured with a massive life-size statue that will be installed inside Mumbai’s iconic Wankhede Stadium. The statue of Tendulkar, a Bharat Ratna and widely regarded as the greatest Indian batter of all time, is expected to be unveiled either on Sachin’s birthday or during the World Cup later this year.
