Virat Kohli teases umpire Nitin Menon in response of the LBW decision that went against him

Kohli said, “Mai hota toh out hota.”

Following an LBW appeal, Virat Kohli teases umpire Nitin Menon in the 35th over of Australia’s second innings in the Ahmedabad Test. A DRS showed ‘Umpire’s Call’, and the head survived. On the stump mic, Kohli said, “Mai hota toh out hota.” Menon smiled and showed a thumbs-up in response.

Earlier that morning, Ravichandran Ashwin convinced skipper Rohit Sharma to ask for a review against an on-song Travis Head, who was closing in on his half-century in the 35th over when Ravichandran Ashwin suggested the study. The ex-India skipper poked fun at umpire Menon after Rohit failed to overturn his decision and joked that he would have given out if he had been in Menon’s place.
