Virat Kohli completes 13 years on the Cricket field as he made his debut on this day in the year 2008

Today mark’s the date when India got their new champion hero in the name of Virat Kohli as he successfully completes 13 years of his career by shattering records and showing his excellence.

Virat Kohli with his enormous and fierce batting skills introduced himself to the cricketing world as he joined Indian Cricket Team and made his debut in 2008 against Sri Lanka. He was the captain of the Under- 19 Indian Cricket Team when they went on to win the trophy lead by Virat’s fearless performance and excellent captaincy. He has the best batting average in Tests, ODI’s and T20 as he average over 50 which is something a lot of players can’t do. He has the most hundred’s scored against the same team (9 times) as he surpassed Sachin Tendulkar. He is the only Indian batsman to have scored a double century 7 times in Test Cricket.

The Indian skipper today has 12,169 runs in ODI cricket, 7,609 runs in Test Cricket, 3159 runs in T20 cricket and 6076 runs in IPL. The run-machine has a huge 43 hundred’s in ODI cricket. He scored his highest ODI score against Pakistan by getting 183 runs. The run machine is currently in second place, only behind legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar in the list for most hundreds in ODI cricket.

He is described as the most difficult player to bowl against as he is a complete matchwinner for India. He is also by far the best run-chaser in the history of this sport.
