Fans witnessed another wonderful performance from team India in this game as well. The Indian cricket team defeated Netherlands by 56 runs and there were so many milestones in the game for Indian players.
Former Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli was amazing in this game as well. Virat Kohli scored his second consecutive half-century in the T20 World Cup 2022. He is India’s top scorer in this World Cup so far. Virat came to bat when KL Rahul was dismissed early. He along with skipper Rohit Sharma made a good partnership to give India a good start.
Virat Kohli became the second highest run-scorer in T20 World Cup. The former Indian captain is just behind the Sri Lankan batter Mahela Jayawardene who has 1016 runs in T20 World Cup. Virat who got the “player of the match award” in the second consecutive game has now scored 989 runs in T20 World Cup and could become only the second batter to reach 1000 runs in the next game.
