The Australian cricket team and South Africa are up against each other in the third and the last Test match of the series at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on Wednesday, 4th January. Australia opt to bat in the last game against South Africa.
In the ongoing match, the Australian opener Usman Khawaja reached a new milestone. The opener completed 4000 Test runs in this game. Usman Khawaja also has reached 50-run mark in this match and current present in the crease.
The last match’s man of the match, David Warner got dismissed early in the game. The opener got out for 10 runs by South African pacer Anrich Nortje. Marnus Labuschagne came to the crease after David Warner’s dismissal.
Labuschagne is currently playing on 73* runs before the game stopped due to bad light. South Africa will look to win this game as they don’t want to get whitewashed by the WTC (2021-23) table toppers (Australia).
