Axar Patel currently joint 3rd in most wickets taken by a player in his first 3 Tests, with 27.
31: Narendra Hirwani (India, 1988)
29: Charles 'The Terror' Turner (Aus, 1887-88)
27: Rodney Hogg (Aus, 1978-79)
27: Axar Patel, with, as I write, the potential for two more.— Andy Zaltzman (@ZaltzCricket) March 6, 2021

Proving to be the X factor for team India’s bowling and adding depth to the spin department, Axar left a strong impact.
After the impressive performance with the ball, Axar scored a crucial 43 in the fourth Test to prove his capabilities with the bat as well. Partnering with Washington Sundar proved to be fruitful as it helped India take a huge 160 runs to lead over England.
Getting a fifer in the second innings of the fourth Test was the icing on the cake for him as India ended up winning the fourth Test and have confirmed their spot in the World Test Championship finals against New Zealand.
