“Things went my way,” Ishan Kishan on his incredible double ton innings

In the third One-Day International against Bangladesh, the Indian cricket team dominated. Ishan Kishan, the opening batsman for the Indian cricket team, made history by becoming the fourth Indian to score a double century in ODI cricket. In ODI cricket history, the opener scored a double century in the quickest time ever. Ishan needed just 126 balls to complete his double century. In his outstanding innings, he hit 24 boundaries and 10 sixes. Ishan Kishan scored 210 runs before being out in the 36th over by Taskin Ahmed. In the unimportant third and final game, India went on to defeat Bangladesh by a score of 227 runs.

“I think it was a perfect wicket to bat on. Perfect situation for me as well. Was looking to watch the ball properly and go with the flow. I think when you have so many senior players in the team. We have been doing conversations. Here at the international stage, you try to get a lot when you get a few. I got a lot of help from the support staff. I was just picking the ball and the bowlers. Things went my way. After looking at the wicket, I knew it was going to play well. Was trying to smash the loose balls. There is so much conversation going on in the team for the fitness,” said Player of the Match Ishan Kishan after the 3rd ODI.
