“The tradition continues,” tweets BCCI after Jasprit Bumrah’s seventh five-fer

Shardul, Shami and Bumrah achieve their five-fers in the same India vs South Africa series, helping India to achieve the historical title.

And Jasprit’s five-fer in the decider game follows the tradition.

Jasprit Bumrah has been performing stunningly, bagging in 11 wickets with an average of 20.64 and an amazing economy of 2.61. Jasprit has one innings left to bowl and create a history of taking another 5 wicket haul in the same match.

Shardul Thakur has the best bowling figures of 7-61 with an amazing bowling strike rate of 33.73. Shardul has bowled a total of 61.5 overs, holding 11 wickets in hand and still left with one last innings to mark another great bowling figure.
