Prior to the team’s first T20I match against Australia on September 20, Team India’s new uniform was presented on Sunday. As the team continues to get ready for this year’s T20 World Cup, which will be held in Australia in October-November, the sky blue colour of the Indian jersey is back. The last time Squad India wore a sky-blue uniform was between 2007 and 2008. The uniform was first presented for the 2007 ODI World Cup, and the same year, a young Indian team captained by MS Dhoni won the first-ever T20 World Cup while donning the same uniform.

On their official Instagram profile, the BCCI and official sponsors MPL introduced the new uniform.
