
After India whitewashing West Indies in the three-match ODI series by 3-0 in Ahmedabad, the squad has now arrived at Kolkata for their next series. India will now play against West Indies in a three-match T20 series in Eden Gardens, Kolkata, starting from February 16.
BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) had posted a video of the Indian team on Twitter, showing their arrival in the ‘city of joy’. It tweets, “Thank you, Ahmedabad! Hello, Kolkata! #TeamIndia|#INDvWI|@Paytm.”

On Friday, Indian vice-captain, KL Rahul and All-rounder, Axar Patel have been ruled out of the three-match T20 series against West Indies due to their injuries. As a result, Ruturaj Gaikwad, who had recently recovered from COVID-19, and All-rounder, Deepak Hooda will be replacing them in the squad.
The first match of the three-match T20 series between India and West Indies will be played on February 16, following the second match on February 18 and the series will end on February 20 when the last match of this series will be played.
