With a convincing eight-wicket victory over the United Arab Emirates earlier this week, Hong Kong earned a spot in the Asia Cup 2022. In Group A, Hong Kong will compete against Pakistan and seven-time champion India. On August 31 they will take on India, and on September 2 Pakistan. Following the game, fans saw the Hong Kong players dancing to the popular song “Kala Chashma” from the film “Baar Baar Dekho.” Zeeshan Ali, a batsman and wicketkeeper, posted the video, which has gone viral online.

A group of dancers and movement directors from the Norwegian company “Quick Style” gained notoriety earlier this year after video of them dancing at a wedding to the tune of the hit party song “Kala Chashma” went viral. The video demonstrates the group’s energetic performance, which was filled with expressive animation and slick movements.

Following their ODI series victory over Zimbabwe earlier this month, the Indian squad also performed a recreation of the Norwegian troupe’s dance.
