CSK will begin their pre-season camp at the Chepauk Stadium on Friday, with the majority of the team, including captain MS Dhoni, in attendance. Deepak Chahar and Ruturaj Gaikwad, two of their key players who are currently at the NCA in Bengaluru, will join the camp a week later.
The camp will also provide an opportunity for the franchise to discuss Kyle Jamieson’s replacement. Viswanathan stated that he will speak with skipper Dhoni and coach Fleming about a replacement for the New Zealand pacer, who is out for the season due to an injury. Jamieson was bought at auction for Rs 1 crore.
