Dhanajaya De Silva, a Sri Lankan cricketer, posted a photo of a signed jersey gifted to him by Indian cricketer Virat Kohli on his Instagram page.
He has captioned the post saying, “ Just don’t give up trying to do what you really want to do. Where there is love and inspiration, I don’t think you can go wrong..” “ Thank you for the gift, you are an amazing ambassador for cricket. Keep inspiring more generations”, he praised Virat.
Dhananjaya first got the attention of national selectors in 2015, then had a strong domestic season that designated him out for more extensive national involvement. De Silva was selected on the basis of his potential in Sri Lanka’s mid-year T20s against Pakistan in 2015, but he failed to convince as a T20 hitter, batting 45 from 47 balls over two innings.
