T20 World Cup for Blind to kick start on December 5

Since 2012, the Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled and the Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) have collaborated to organise the World Cup. Samarthanam views sports as a means of enhancing inclusion and motivating people with disabilities on a variety of levels. Over 30,000 visually challenged crickets have received assistance from the trust since its beginnings. The third T20 World Cup for the Blind is four days away, and the anticipation among blind cricketers from seven nations is growing.

To coincide with the worldwide celebrations of World Disability Day, the third T20 World Cup Cricket Tournament for the Blind will be held from December 5 to December 17. The purpose of the Day’s celebration is to increase awareness of disability issues and to rally support for the dignity, rights, and general welfare of people with disabilities.
