India won the toss and decided to ball first at the MCG and decided to field first. India kept their dominance in the game since the very start, dismissing the destructive openers Babar Azam (0) & Mohammad Rizwan (4) before the power play.
The Indian young gun, Arshdeep Singh, dismissed both the openers with his elegant speed and swing. Pakistan batting first managed to score 32 losing two wickets. They will try to make a promising comeback in the game after having a poor start against India.
While Babar Azam was dismissed with an inswinger resulting in fair and square LBW, whereas, Mohammad Rizwan was sent back to the Pagal loan after getting pin-downed to Arshdeep’s bouncer and field trap.
Both the Indian bowlers, Arshdeep Singh and Bhuvneshwar Kumar were put in controversy for poor bowling performances in the Aisa cup. However, both the seamers have proved their point.
