Suryakumar Yadav’s muscle injury questions his spot for T20 World Cup

Suryakumar Yadav is been ruled out of the Indian Premier League 2022 after he sustained a muscle injury during the campaign.

Mumbai Indians’ batter Suryakumar Yadav sustained a muscle injury in forearms for which he’ll have to stay out of the campaign. IPL 2022 is officially over for Suryakumar Yadav as he has been out of the squad due to injury confirms Mumbai Indians.

The Indian cricketer played some amazing innings for Mumbai Indians this season. He (Suryakumar Yadav) wasn’t there with the team since the start of the IPL 2022. He joined late as he was recovering from his previous injury. After he joined the team, he was been named in the starting XI regularly. Now, after his injury Mumbai Indians will look out for his replacements. As the team is already out of the playoffs race, so this won’t matter much for Mumbai Indians but this Surya’s injury is a matter of concern for BCCI and Indian cricket team.

BCCI will be naming the squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup in a few months and his injury looks big and it is a possibility that he will miss out on the selection due to this. Still there are just speculations and BCCI or Mumbai Indians haven’t gave any confirmation yet. It will be interesting to see whether the middle-order batter make it to the Indian T20 World Cup squad.
