
Suryakumar Yadav, popularly known as the Sky, is appointed as the skipper for the T20I series against Australia. The series will start on November 23rd, 2023, in Visakhapatnam. We will be seeing some fresh faces in the series as the World Cup players take some rest. Only three familiar names from the World Cup squad, i.e., Prasidh Krishna, Ishan Kishan, and Suryakumar Yadav himself, We will likely see Shreyas Iyer in the last two matches of the series held in Raipur and Bengaluru. He will act as the vice captain of the team.
The star all-rounder, who also missed the World Cup due to an ankle injury, will be absent from this series. The Indian team might have chances to see Asian Games star Yashasvi Jaiswal, followed by Tilak Varma and Rinku Singh, keeping in mind the 2024 T20I World Cup.
