Stuart Broad tops the list of most wickets taken in World Test Championship

Stuart Broad is the top wicket taker in the World Test Championship (overall).

English bowler Stuart Broad is the top wicket-taker in the Test tournament named World Test Championship (WTC). The WTC was initiated by ICC in 2019, August. It has been a successful three years of the competition as New Zealand became the winner of the first season of the tournament. The second one is currently running which will be coming to end in 2023.

Even Stuart Broad didn’t know that he is the highest wicket-taker in the overall tournament. India and New Zealand were in the finals of the first season but both teams’ bowlers are not there in the top 3 list.

The list consists of some more bowlers and it also has Australian pacers in it. Stuart Broad is not in the current England cricket team’s squad for the Pakistan tour. His partner James Anderson is there on the team and currently playing the second Test match.

Stuart Broad has taken 112 wickets so far in the tournament (WTC). Whereas the second and third positions are occupied by Australians namely Pat Cummins (108 wickets) and Nathan Lyon (107 wickets).
