Sri Lanka has announced its 15-man squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s World Cup in India, with Dasun Shanaka continuing as the team’s captain. Lead spinner Maheesh Theekshana, who missed the Asia Cup due to injury, has been cleared to participate.
The squad also welcomes back left-arm pacer Dilshan Madhushanka and Lahiru Kumara, who were sidelined during the Asia Cup.
However, Wanindu Hasaranga remains on the sidelines, and Dushmantha Chameera is still out due to a shoulder injury.
Sri Lanka will begin its World Cup preparations with a warm-up match against Bangladesh on September 29.
