South Africa to tour Pakistan after a decade, matches to be played in January-February next year

The Cricket board of South Africa has confirmed the tour of Pakistan in the month of January next year. This is a major series and the return of cricket in Pakistan will definitely reach heights through this tour.

The CSA has confirmed the dates for the tour as well and has released the schedule for the tour. South Africa will be playing two tests and three T20’s against Pakistan starting in January.

The South African team will leave for Pakistan on January 16. After completing their mandatory isolation they will play the first test on January 26.

This test series will be a part of the World test championship. The test series will be followed by T20 series. The T20 series will begin from 11 February.

The CEO of CSA in the official press release said that they were really excited to be part of something great. This series will mark the resumption of International cricket in Pakistan. The Pakistan cricket board has worked hard to regain every team’s confidence and we are sure that they’ll be back on track soon.

PCB CEO said that they have always been welcoming of cricket in their nation and South Africa has been on of the most prominent teams in International cricket.

Pakistan has been slowly resuming their professional cricket for past 5 years. They have recently hosted Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and entire season of PSL.

The tour will begin from 26 January from tests which will be followed by T20 series.
