
A few days ago, Indian former captain, Sourav Ganguly’s pictures of sitting with the selectors, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma went viral. Many claimed that Sourav goes to these selection meetings to influence the selection and put pressure on the selectors.
Regarding all these allegations put on him, he responded that all the allegations are baseless. He clarifies that the picture doing rounds on social media is not of any selection meetings. He feels that there is no need to answer anything related to the accusations. Sourav also reminded everyone about his cricket career that he has played more than 400 international matches for India, according to NDTV.
Sourav said that he is the president of BCCI and he does the job of what he should be doing for the post. He also said that he has a very fantastic relationship with BCCI secretary, Jay Shah. He speaks on his relationship with Jay and credits a few other BCCI officers for doing a commendable job.
The president of BCCI said that to make sure that cricket continues, he, Jay, and other members of the board have worked together to keep the board working during the difficult times of COVID-19 in the last two years.
