Indian cricketer Shreyas Iyer is likely to miss the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season and the World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia at Lord’s due to a back injury he sustained during the fourth Test against Australia in Narendra Modi Stadium.
Iyer, who was fielding during the match, suffered a lower back injury. He was immediately taken off the field and subsequently ruled out of the remainder of the match.
