Retired Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi has urged on raising Yasir Shah in the playing XI team. He has told that it is not good to have a legendary spinner like Yasir Shah on the bench, as he has finished many games for the Pakistan squad.
The first test match played between Australia and Pakistan in Rawalpindi culminated without any outcome. Both the squads battled fiercely and the bowlers sacrificed their effort. Because of the flat pitch, folk called it a dreary game. Many veterans denounced the pitch.
On the other hand, Shahid Afridi has told that you cannot make a spinner like Yasir Shah recline on the bench.
He told during a discussion on Pakistani news as HT reports, “You have Yasir Shah who is a very aged cricketer and you have gained a victory in several games. You are hiding him on the bench against a world-class squad. I have this aspect at all. I don’t realize. Sajid did well. I didn’t have high objectives from him on this pitch as the pitch was extremely sluggish and didn’t bounce on it.”
Before, Shahid Afridi had also derided the Rawalpindi pitch plenty. He had explained that the PCB did not understand Australia. Nevertheless, a good pitch should be competent for the next two Test games to be held in Lahore and Karachi grounds. You have to seize the motive of your home series. Contrarily, when you go to Australia, you will have to strive plenty there.
Let us notify you that two more Test games are still to be played between Pakistan and Australia (visitors).
