Sachin Tendulkar tells an interesting anecdote about Kohli ahead of his 100th Test

Prior Indian team skipper Virat Kohli will play the famous Test of his career against Sri Lanka at the Mohali Cricket Stadium. Almost before this game, his old teammate and vast batsman Sachin Tendulkar has acclaimed him. Also, he confided how he had heeded about him for the initial period.

He touted Kohli’s achievement, saying his potential to stimulate a full era of cricketers apart from his ‘brilliant’ accomplishment on the field has been his substantial prosperity.

Prior skipper Kohli is set to play his 100th Test which will be played against Sri Lanka at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Cricket Stadium, Mohali. Tendulkar told BCCI.TV.

“What a terrific accomplishment. I recollect the first time I learned about you, when we were in Australia in 2007-08. It takes good batting to see this player’s performance,” he said to BCCI TV.

“After that we played for India together, although it didn’t last long but from the time we spent together, it was clear that you were willing to learn things,” he added. You keep working on your game and keep getting better.

Team India coach Rahul Dravid also acclaimed Virat. He said Playing Test cricket is not that susceptible. This is an accomplishment that Kohli should be delighted of. He has played with me too. There has been constant growth in them and it is decent to see that. In the last five-six years, he has also taken charge of the squad. It’s not susceptible. I don’t think they will be convinced with just that. They nonetheless have a lot to accomplish.
