On this very day 7 years ago, November 16, 2013, Sachin Tendulkar played his very last international match for India in a test match against the West Indies at his home ground of Wankhede Stadium. The ‘Little Master’ as everyone called him, gained tremendous respect in the eyes of everyone present in the cricket world. Brian Lara, one of the greatest batsman of all-time also had a great deal of respect for Sachin and presented him with a present on behalf of the entire West Indies cricket board after Tendulkar’s last match. Sachin posted a video on his Twitter account expressing his gratitude and also attempted to recreate a moment where Brian Lara played the drum at Sachin’s home.
#OnThisDay 7️⃣ years ago @windiescricket and my friends @BrianLara & @henrygayle presented me with this beautiful steel drum.🥁
I will always be grateful for such a wonderful gift and thank them for their love and respect.
Thank you once again. 🙏🏼♥️@BCCI pic.twitter.com/JtpZB8XV1Z
