For the forthcoming SA20, Cricket South Africa (CSA) has released a large auction registry. The extended list has more than 500 players from from 18 different nations; Pakistan is currently absent. The register, which was sent to the six teams on Friday, will need to be narrowed down in order for the “player auction to be effective.” The auction takes place on September 19 in Cape Town.
Over 100 players, including Eoin Morgan from England, over 50 from the West Indies (including Lendl Simmons and Denesh Ramdin), over 30 from Sri Lanka (including Dinesh Chandimal, Kusal Mendis, and Kusal Perera), 25 from Afghanistan (including Mohammad Shahzad), and 10 from Zimbabwe are on the list. There are also contributions from Namibia, The Netherlands, Ireland, Canada, Oman, Scotland, and New Zealand (Ross Taylor and Jimmy Neesham).
