SA vs ENG: First ODI abandoned due to COVID-19 scare in the team hotel

The first ODI between South Africa and England has been abandoned as per the reports coming in from the ECB. The ODI has been abandoned on the basis of COVID cases coming out of the hotel staff in Cape Town.

South Africa will be missing services of key players like Faf Du Plesis and Kagiso Rabada for the ODI series. Meanwhile England will not have Jofra Archer and Ben Stokes in their side. Joe Root will have a great chance to prove himself in the ODI side as he is making a comeback as well as Chris Woakes who will be coming after quite sometime.
