The woes still continue for South Africa as they lose another player from their squad. CSA on Thursday announced that they will miss the services of the bowling all rounder Dwaine Pretorius. He suffered an hamstring injury while practicing at Six Gun Grill Newlands. It is expected to recover in a window of three to four weeks, CSA added in their press release.
Malibongwe Maketa, South Africa A team’s coach has been called as cover in the team. Although, CSA has confirmed that there will be no replacement for Pretorius. Earlier, two players of the South African team were tested positive for COVID-19. They weren’t part of the third and final test as they remain in isolation and are being monitored closely.
CSA also added that the South African side has completed the final round of their testing on Thursday morning and expect the results by the evening time.
South Africa will face England in 3 T20I’s and 3 ODI’s as the tour begins from 27th November with the T20 series.
