Rohit Sharma has been appointed as India’s full-time captain in the red-ball format

Rohit Sharma has been named as the permanent captain in the Red-Ball format. Earlier a couple of months back he was named as the Captain of the Indian team in the white-ball format.

He already has fourteen half-centuries as well as 8 centuries to his name in Tests.

The selectors have decided to go with the experience of Rohit Sharma to consider for the Test Captain. Even though Team India had some other young talents like Jasprit Bumrah, KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant.
